As long as I can remember I have always had a camera. My first one was a brownie flash and I still have it. I love taking pictures of my travels and my neighbourhood. I make books with my photos with subjects like laundry, chairs, doors, windows, hands, etc.
I consider myself a snapshot photographer and by that I mean even though I use a digital camera I don't use any special set ups or equipment and I don't use photo shop. Just the snapshot as it was taken.
Being an assemblage artist I find it hard just to put the photo into a frame so my photos are layered with transparencies, printed on canvas, covered with beeswax or part of an assemblage.
